Connecting Digital Divide

SecondChance Electronic Foundation is a Durham-based non-profit organization run by passionate high school students aiming to bridge the digital divide in our community. By collecting second-hand electronics donations from the public, we plan to redistribute them to underserved communities affected by poverty.

Our Mission

In many parts of the world, access to technology remains a distant dream for millions. At SecondChance Electronics, we believe that access to electronic devices isn't just about connectivity—it's about empowerment.

For communities without access to traditional educational resources, these devices serve as windows to a world of knowledge and opportunity. Through initiatives that donate second-hand electronics, we aim to bridge the digital divide.

If you have any old laptops, tablets, phones, or other devices sitting unused at your home or office, we kindly ask you to consider donating them to help bridge the digital divide in our community.
